Why Car AC Fails Faster in Dubai
Your car's AC system runs at maximum capacity for 8 to 10 months of the year in the UAE. That constant load accelerates wear on the compressor, degrades the refrigerant faster, and puts more stress on seals and hoses than the manufacturer anticipated for a temperate climate. The condenser, mounted at the front of the car, collects sand and debris that reduces airflow and cooling efficiency. Most AC problems in Dubai are directly related to heat, dust, and overwork.
Why the Type of Refilled Gas Matters
Not all refrigerant is the same. Cheap, unbranded gas often comes in inconsistent purity levels. Impurities in the refrigerant reduce cooling efficiency, increase system pressure, and accelerate wear on the compressor. How to Know If Your AC Compressor Is Failing
The compressor is the most expensive single component in your AC system. How We Perform The Service
Pressure and Temperature Test
We start by measuring the system pressure on both the high and low sides and testing the vent temperature. This tells us immediately whether the system is low on gas, overcharged, or has a blockage.
Leak Detection and Inspection
If the gas is low, there's a leak somewhere. We check every connection, hose, the condenser, evaporator, and compressor seal for leaks using electronic detection and UV dye when needed. We also inspect the condenser for damage and debris.
Component Diagnosis
We test the compressor engagement, check the expansion valve for proper operation, inspect the cabin filter, and assess the overall health of the system. Any faults are documented and explained before we do any work.
Service and Regas
We evacuate the old refrigerant, pull a vacuum to remove moisture from the system, and recharge with the correct amount of Honeywell premium gas for your vehicle. After recharging, we run the system and verify vent temperatures are within spec.
