How We Perform The Service
Symptoms and Road Test
We start with the symptoms you describe and then drive the car or test it on the lift. We're checking for noise under turning, play in the wheel, fluid level, and how the steering responds at different speeds. This narrows the problem to the pump, rack, tie rods, hoses, or electronic components.
Lift Inspection
With the car on the lift, we check the steering rack for leaks and play, inspect tie rod ends and boots, test the power steering pump pressure, examine hoses and connections, and scan for electronic faults on EPS-equipped cars.
Repair or Replace
