Dubai summer is hard on every part of a car at once. A short pre-summer check catches the weak points before they fail.
By the time temperatures push past 45°C, it's too late to be reactive — that's when weak batteries, low coolant, and worn belts tend to fail all at once, usually on the road rather than in your driveway.
What to Check Before Peak Summer
- Battery health — heat shortens battery life faster than cold does, and most failures happen in summer, not winter
- Coolant level and condition, plus a check for any hose that's gone brittle
- AC gas pressure and cabin filter condition
- Tyre pressure — heat increases pressure, so check it more often in summer, not less
- Belts and hoses for cracking, which accelerates in extreme heat
A 20-minute pre-summer inspection is far cheaper than a breakdown recovery call in July. We run a dedicated summer readiness check that covers all of the above, with a same-day report.
