The number on the sticker isn't always right for Dubai. Here's how heat and driving style change the real interval.
Manufacturer intervals are usually written for moderate climates and mixed driving. Dubai's heat and heavy stop-start traffic both push oil to break down faster than the handbook assumes.
General Guidance
- Fully synthetic oil (like Mannol, which we use): roughly every 10,000 km
- Semi-synthetic: every 7,500 km
- Conventional oil: every 5,000 km
- Mostly short trips or heavy traffic driving: lean toward the lower end of whichever range applies
Dark, gritty oil on the dipstick, a ticking sound on cold starts, or a dashboard reminder are all signs it's overdue regardless of mileage. When in doubt, an oil change is one of the cheapest ways to protect a much more expensive engine.
We're an authorised Mannol distributor in the UAE, so every oil change uses genuine German synthetic oil matched to your engine's actual spec, not a generic bulk blend.
